The House of Numb Mercy

This ominous building stands out in stark contrast to the stylish houses flanking it. The walls are made of dyed brick with relief carvings depicting writhing, coiling heads of malovent chromatic dragons. Two heavy, scorched wood, front doors hold a dozen intricate locks along its length. The locks are strictly ornamental, the doors remain open to the public at all hours of the day or night. The building’s reputation is deterrent enough to would-be-theives.

Officially, this building is registered as a lawfirm. Unofficaly, the office serves as a shrine to Tiamat.

The infamous owner of the building, a deva known only as The Smile, throws opulent parties and frequents many upstanding social circles despite his open and often menacing reputation.
